As much as half the food aid intended for Somalia’s neediest is landing in the hands of corrupt contractors, Islamic militants and local United Nations workers. That’s according to a report by the United Nations Monitoring Group For Somalia. The report was presented to the UN Security Council on Tuesday but it leaked to the media ahead of time. VOA’s Mariama Diallo reports.
